3. Gross Domestic Fixed Investment – GDFI
The following GDFI statistics include investment in building and construction, machinery and equipment, transport equipment and transport costs. In 1995, the Province’s GDFI – including fixed capital stock – totalled 9,076 (Rm constant 2000 prices), while in 2008 it was estimated at 19,879 (Rm constant 2000 prices).
