Top Green Municipalities announced | 2 Nov 2017

Elundini Local Municipality was announced as the winner of the Greenest Municipality Competition, walking away with a monetary prize of R500 000. This was done during the Marine Day celebrations which were held in the KSD Local Municipality in Coffee Bay.

The Marine Day Celebrations create awareness on the marine and coastal environment, the promotion of sustainable use and conservation of these resources for the benefit of all both present and future generations.
