Dedeat holds Wild Coast SEZ stakeholder session

The Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEDEAT) is this morning briefing and engaging provincial and regional economic development stakeholders on the progress made towards the realisation of the Wild Coast Special Economic Zone (WCSEZ) and the roadmap going forward

The Department has been working towards the establishment of the WCSEZ with special focus on agro-industry owing to the potential the sector has and the demand for the agricultural products in the region.

This work is at an advanced stage and in this session, the department will share details on this progress and planned activities in this regard.

The primary target groups for this session are Ncise Community and Business Community in the broader Wild Coast region covering OR Tambo, Alfred Nzo and part of Amathole Region.
