Local, Regional and Economic Development Fund (LRED)
LRED funding supports priority sectors which are aligned to municipal IDPs and LED plans. It encourages new sources of economic activity in small towns, townships and villages, amongst others. It also supports job creation.

Cooperative funding, development and support
The Eastern Cape Development Corporation assists cooperatives in priority sectors with financing equipment and materials and providing technical skills, governance training, and health and safety interventions.
